Hanmi Gallery London is dedicated to showcasing and promoting contemporary Korean and East Asian art to local and international audiences. With a second gallery space in Seoul, which features the works of British and European artists, it aims to foster a cross-cultural dialogue between Eastern and Western contemporary art.

Since its first opening in London in 2011, the gallery has focused on new media and interdisciplinary artistic practices; it represents emerging and established video, performance and new media artists, supporting their development and enhancing their visibility in present-day visual culture.

The gallery has also successfully run programmes of seminars, art talks, workshops and projects engaging with public audiences. Hanmi Gallery London is currently under refurbishment and is thrilled to open its newly renovated gallery space with an inaugural exhibition in Spring 2018. 한미 갤러리는 동양과 서양의 시각예술 및 문화의 교류를 추구하고, 국제적 현대미술 전시를 기획하는 공간입니다. 영국 런던을 통해 한국의 현대 미술을 국제 미술세계에 소개하고 한국 미술의 입지를 세계적으로 넓히고자 2011년 런던에 개관하였습니다.

2014년에는 서울 강남구에 한미 갤러리 두 번째 갤러리를 개관하여 해외주요작가 및 다양한 장르의 젊은 작가를 한국에 소개하는 역할을 하고 있습니다. 이로서 런던과 서울 두거점의 활발한 교류를 통해 유럽과 한국을 연결짓고 양 지역의 새로운 플랫폼을 마련하고 장려한다는 점에서 차별성을 갖습니다.

전문적인 큐레이터의 안목과 정보를 바탕으로 국내외의 역량있는 신진 작가및 최고의 작가들의 작품의 실험적인 전시 기획과 지속적으로 작품을 소개하여 동서양의 시각문화 담론을 활성화하는데 끊임없이 노력하겠습니다.
