Jinkyun Ahn plays with visual expectations as a way of investigating the reality of his parent’s mortality. What could be very serious actually works best in it’s playfulness. Using the vacant double plot in a graveyard where his parents intend to be buried as his starting point, his carefully constructed portraits of his parents intending to capture something of a different place and different time.

Jinkyun was born and raised in Seoul Korea, Currently he is living and working in London UK. He was awarded as Brighton Photo Fringe Open 2012 Selected Artist
. His artworks have been exhibited in USA and UK.
