Harald Den Breejen

Harald den Breejen is a Dutch artist based in the United Kingdom.

 

After completing a residency at the Rijksakademie, Amsterdam (2009-10), Den Breejen moved to London to study Philosophy. He is currently a postgraduate research student at King’s College, London. Last year, he was selected as Workshop Artist for TATE’s learning programme. Now he is engaged in developing an online platform for interdisciplinary research. He sees all this as part of an extended art practice that combines this broad engagement with a research-based work methodology.

 

His works have been featured in many exhibitions internationally such as Project Visible at Tate Modern in London (2014), TERRA NOVA at Kunsthuis Syb in Netherlands (2012) and Claremorris Open Exhibition in Ireland (2011). He also had a solo exhibition, John, at Legion TV in London (2013). Recently Den Breejen exhibited two works in the Persona exhibition at Hanmi Gallery (2014).
